Cosmo Crew Training Booking Policy:
Payment:
- A 50% deposit is required to secure a course place.
- The full course fee will need to be paid no later than 1 week prior to the course being attended.
- If the total course cost has not been paid by the first day of the course Cosmo Crew reserve the right to refuse admission.
Cancellation:
- By Cosmo:
- If the course is cancelled by Cosmo Crew, your course fee will be refunded in full.
- By Candidate:
- Candidates will receive a full refund if they cancel more than 30 days before the course commencement date.
- Cancellation within 3 – 30 days will result in no refund but Cosmo Crew can transfer part of the course money to a later course (course transfers are only permitted once). A fee of 200 euros will be deducted to cover administration.
- Cancellation within 72 hours results in the loss of all monies without refund or transfer.
Health and Fitness:
- All candidates wishing to attend the STCW 95 Basic Safety Training Week will need to present a ‘French General Certificate of Health’. The certificate is required under law to permit candidates to use the fire fighting breathing apparatus for their ‘Basic Fire Fighting’ practical module. The certificate is available from any French Doctor and costs approx €50. For Crew in Antibes please contact the ‘Antibes Family Practice’ at 5 Bis, Place General de Gaul, 1st Floor, Antibes. You can call them on +33 (0)4 93 34 04 16 (They speak English!). You need to ask the Doctor for ‘aucune contre indication concernant le port de l'appareil respiratoire individuel’.
- If you have any physical or medical conditions that may affect your ability to participate fully in your course please contact us to confirm whether or not you will be allowed to attend.
- Failure to disclose any medical conditions likely to affect your participation may cause you to be taken off the course.
Insurance:
- All STCW 95 course candidates will be covered by the training centre’s Insurance policy for the duration of the course.
